Abstract: European Union’s vision of a trustworthy AI is based on ethical principles and requirements that are ultimately connected to fundamental rights and human rights. The impact of AI systems on human dignity, human autonomy, fundamental rights and human rights is not a purely ethical question, but it is increasingly becoming the very issue at stake concerning the relationship between law and new technologies.
